Home Music House Nero’s Sophomore Album Draws Nearer With ‘Two Minds’

Fans of Nero have been hotly anticipating ‘Between II Worlds‘, Nero’s second album, for more than a year and a half, when it was first announced. With a number of delays, however, the release date has been pushed back several times, and is now slated for August 28th (2808 anyone?).

Even further attention has been drawn to this album with the honour of Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record In The World being bestowed on the lead single ‘Satisfy‘, a decidedly dark production effort, as well as Porter Robinson’s beautiful remix of the second single ‘The Thrill‘. Given the high quality of these tracks previewed so far, it is hard to deny that Nero is back bigger and better than ever, with what will undoubtedly be a huge success.

Just a few days ago, Nero released a full preview for another track from the album, ‘Two Minds‘, a house number with a ‘future’-style bassline and strong vocals as always from Alana Watson. This house style is not what we are used to hearing from them, but nonetheless achieves cohesion and combines well with their typically dark and grungy synths. Have a listen for yourself, and keep your eyes peeled for more previews between now and the album release date!
