Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike & Ne-Yo Release “Higher Place” Lyric Video

Your eyesbrows weren’t the only ones that were raised after the first listen of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mikes latest track. Ours were too. The festival touring kings, renowned for creating the big-room soundtracks of memories found their softer side, pairing up with hip-hop prince Ne-Yo for an emotive, piano-led single destined for your summer playlist.

With the immense response to their smash-hit “The Hum“, and it’s celebrity-filled video featuring Charlie Sheen and Jean-Claude Van Damme, the Belgian natives have been teasing their die-hard fans across their social media channels with clips of their video. Receiving its premiere at EDC Las Vegas, with Ne-Yo himself, the 60,000 fans in attendance got the chance to sing in harmony, or try at least, with the Grammy-Nominee.

The animated lyric video takes the song on a romantic journey, following a couple as they travel and live a picturesque life, culminating in the Northern Lights, a dream roadtrip.  With the official video set to drop soon, there’s little doubt the summer anthem will be seeing huge popularity in the weeks to come.
