Jauz and his Sharksquad are back with another piece of genius in ‘Rock The Party‘, a collaboration with Ephwurd. This previously anonymous duo have revealed themselves as dubstep powerhouse Datsik and LA artist Bais Haus, as a different house-y avenue for their creative minds. This is their follow-up track to ‘Just Us‘, a free house track released on their Soundcloud, and their well-praised remix of Major Lazer’s ‘Lean On‘ with moombahton pioneers ETC!ETC!.
Jauz himself has been extremely active lately, with his track ‘Feel The Volume‘ heard all over the festival circuit, including regular plays from the likes of Skrillex and Diplo as Jack Ü and Oliver Heldens. His most recent work, also a remix of ‘Lean On‘, was a new collaboration with Dillon Francis, whose styles intermingled cohesively on that track.
‘Rock The Party‘ follows in the ilk of Jauz’s previous tracks, with many familiar sounds from ‘Feel The Volume‘ in particular. It is a frenetic work, jumping between various styles in what is sure to be a crowd pleaser at both clubs and festivals alike. Props also to Cubby Cramer for a fantastic cartoon music video to accompany the track, featuring a character that is somewhat akin to the Thing from Fantastic Four.
‘Rock The Party‘ is available now on Spinnin’ Records. Beatport
