Fox Stevenson & Curbi – Hoohah
Fox Stevenson & Curbi craft a festival anthem in the form of ‘Hoohah’. Prepare for this beast to take over your clubs and radio stations real soon. Curbi’s ‘Discharge‘ saw a massive response from the growing future house community and was frequently played in main rooms everywhere. Fox’s ‘Sweet Soda Pop‘ can still be heard on air waves today. Both their releases received over a million hits on Spinnin’ Records’ YouTube channel, and the tracks made their way into respective top 10s.
In Hoohah, Curbi and Fox’s sound literally collide; we’ve got Curbi’s trembling bass-line along with house loops dictating the track and Steveson’s flute-y synths taking over the melodies and leads. A collision always leads to an end product; a result. In Hoohah’s case, this is seen in the form of an explosive breakdown that will get ravers rockin; look out for that drop at 2:00 in the preview below.
