Gorillaz Are Set To Return!

Damon Albarn, the frontman of the Gorillaz and Blur, recently dropped the news fans all over the world have likely dreamed about – The return of the Gorillaz.

Albarn mentioned the development alongside announcing Blur’s new Australian tour, telling ABC:

“I’m starting recording in September for a new Gorillaz record.”

While we’re likely going to have to wait another year or so until we hear the first clips of the new album, but the wait will be a breeze compared to the ominous 4 years their fans have experienced since their last release, “The Fall” back in 2011.

Damon continued saying:

“I’ve just been really, really busy so I haven’t had a chance…I’d love to just get back into that routine of being at home and coming to the studio five days a week.”
