The Progressive House scene’s torchbearer has been all about innovation, apart from the beautiful melodies, be it breaking away from the 2004 classic ‘Call On Me’ bandwagon or experimenting with genres using a long list of aliases/groups such as Pryda, Cirez D, Sheridan, Dirty Funker, Moo, A and P Project, Axer, Hardform, Dukes of Sluca,Fiol Lasse and Groove System. Congratulations are also in order for becoming the first DJ on Apple’s streaming service ‘Beats 1’ and the awaited release of his upcoming single ‘Opus’. We have reviewed the absolutely magical track here.

Club sounding vocals and a jazzy melody to top it all off with, this one sure made it to the dance floors.

Just wonderful! Showcases everything that Eric Prydz is capable of. Top of his game, really.

Pryda – Allein

Progression at its best. 2012 hit from the ‘Eric Prydz Presents Pryda‘ album.

Eric Prydz – Call On Me

Arguably his most famous work. Taking vocals from the Steve Winwood’s 1987 classic ‘Valerie’, the track was dominant on worldwide charts and even turned gold in 3 countries. A sleazy video too!

Eric Prydz – Pjanoo

Cheerful melody, claps and an excellent progression. What else do you need?

Eric Prydz – 2Night

The song is exactly what it’s titled. Comforting and rejoicing at once. A perfect night melody!

Eric Prydz vs. Floyd – Proper Education

Three things – Pink Floyd, Eric Prydz and charted #1 on US Dance charts.

Eric Prydz – Niton

Beautiful vocals and a melody that might just be one of the best from Eric Prydz. Ingenious video too!

Steve Angello – Voices (Eric Prydz Remix)

A personal favorite for the last, its just an absolute gem of a remix! A little Swedish match up.

Of course, we couldn’t keep all of the tracks in our selection but as a bonus we would like to share one of his lesser known aliases, Fiol Lasse. Here is ‘Svedala’ which showcases brilliant ethnic sounds and a melody that wouldn’t keep you guessing the artist for long!
