Ruby Rose: Actress by day, DJ by night
Television heartthrob, Ruby Rose, was close to leaving the US last year after her acting career was seemingly failing. So we have to say a big thank you to the producers of ‘Orange is the New Black’ for making one of her final auditions a successful one. God bless America.
In under a week the Aussie bombshell will be making her Ibiza debut, joining Avicii at his weekly summer residency during BBC Radio 1’s Ibiza takeover weekend. In turn, Ruby Rose will be making her first appearance at the legendary and prestigious open-air club Ushuaia. And while it seems a whole host of celebrities seem to jumping on the DJing bandwagon, as always Rose has a point of difference.
Already established and renowned for her disk-jockeying skills, with a sold out North American stint, the Orange Is The New Black star will join Cazzette and Zedd amongst many more at ones of the party-islands biggest weekends. Originating from Melbourne, Ruby Rose first rose to fam as a celebrated VJ (video-jockey) for MTV Australia. Branching out into fashion, modelling, acting and humanitarian work, it seems there’s little the brunette-beauty can’t turn to gold.
With Avicii entering his fourth week of the summer residency, the night has become one of the most in-demand events of 2015 on the island. And with the looks, reputation and versatile sets of Ruby Rose in addition, it’s impossible to imagine it not being one of the best nights of the year!
