Sometimes, to go into the future; you need to go back to the past.
The newly formed alliance of Ansolo and Pierce Fulton (Shirts and Skins) are bringing groove back with their remake of a ‘70s classic, “Then Came You”. Ansolo, better known as Ansel Elgort, has been on fire lately and has really found his place in the dance spectrum. Pierce Fulton certainly doesn’t need an introduction, rising onto the scene with highly credible and respected material. The duo have recently taken on what they call ‘sexy house’. Pierce’s progressive house background coupled with Ansolo’s big-room sound make Shirts and Skins a perfect match.
The track combines elements from the ’60s and ’70s along with modern day dance music. “Then Came You” brilliantly captures the best of both worlds. It’s great, and refreshing, to see artists collaborate and try out different sounds, and being creative.
