The 3rd edition of Ultra Europe drew in over 150,000 attendee’s across 7 days and 5 momentous events. Croatia’s largest ever electronic music event upped the ante once again, creating Destination ULTRA which spanned across 4 stunning locations on the sun-kissed coast.

The flagship event, ULTRA Europe Festival, came with an LED embedded Main Stage colossal and an enormous, sophisticated sound system to give the ‘Ultranauts’ an experience they won’t forget. With attendee’s senses indulged with performances from the like of Alesso, Armin Van Buuren, Axwell^Ingrosso, Martin Garrix, Steve Angello, Tiësto and many more, the festivals atmosphere was at peak level throughout. And with the likes of The Chemical Brothers bringing their legendary LIVE show, fans young and old had something to deliver their memories soundtracks.

The 3rd editions also brought about a 4th stage, the RESISTANCE arena. Dubbed the ‘Afterburner’, the stage saw was graced by the feet of Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, Sasha and Solomun amongst a whole host of established names in the industry ranging from house to techno. With the Megastructure changing genre’s on a daily basis, with DnB, Techno and Trance names such as Carl Cox, Andrew Rayel, Markus Schulz and Paul Van Dyk all added to the rapturous atmosphere until Monday’s early hours. With the UMF Radio stage in its 2nd year at the festival, thousands each day got to see talents, both established and up-and-coming, from around the globe deliver the best they had to offer. And while that concluded the 3-day flagship event, the festival itself was far from over, with Goldfish igniting another event at the ULTRA Yatch Regatta Party on the heavenly island of Brač, infuses the environment with the sounds of disco to saxophone for several hours.

It’s no surprise that ULTRA Beach sold out for the third consecutive year. The pool party took place on the idyllic island of Hvar where over 5,000 revelers partied at the Amfora Grand Beach Resort. With material from Moguai, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Oliver Heldens and Fedde Le Grand, a spectrum of electro house, progressive house, future house and big-room was covered within the basking sun and glowing moon. As the week drew to a close, ULTRA arguably saved their finest destination until last, as Joris Voorn and Nic Fanciulli ran a Resistance themed Closing Party from within the historic 200 year old Fort George. An awe-inspiring venue on the island of Vis, to believe it you need to see it.

Which leads us nicely into saying, if you haven’t been to Ultra Europe yet, then 2016 is probably the time to go. With a compilation of memories and experiences such as this, it’s hard to deny you’re not tempted to go. And if you’re reluctant still, just wait until the after movie drops…
