Zedd, Major Lazer and Calvin Harris to craft NBA 2K16 Soundtrack

Gamers, rejoice! Widely known NBA 2K16 is set for release this September and the soundtrack looks insanely impressive. EDM superpowers Zedd, Major Lazer and Calvin Harris are set to feature their material on the 50 track playlist. With the trio’s new albums out this year, we can expect to hear some of the already reputed songs to make the list as well as six fresh and exclusive tracks.

The soundtrack will contain 6 playlists: one from each of the artists mentioned, a classics’ mix-tape from all the previous soundtracks, an international ‘Around The World’ playlist and a master playlist which includes all 50 tracks that made this year’s shortlist.

A statement from the developers of the game, 2k Sports confirms this is going to be an ultimate playlist for gamers and music addicts alike:“The newest iteration of the top-rated video game simulation series for the last 15 years, will feature the most extensive soundtrack in ‘NBA 2K’ history…”

On another note, hip-hop superstars DJ Premier, DJ Khaled and DJ Mustard are also going to help mold this soundtrack.

The hype is already rising for NBA 2K16’s release and the studio has generously released a 44 track Spotify playlist to ease demand. The highly anticipated game is set for release on the 29th of September, so you’ll have to hold on to your socks for those 6 exclusive tracks till then.
