With Avicii teasing at new tracks in his live sets over the past few months, giving fans a taster of new material for his yet to have been released album, Avicii has finally announced a release date for his latest Album ‘Stories’.

The album, set to release October 2nd, is the Swedish producer’s second studio album after ‘True’ which he released in 2013.

Avicii has been working on ‘Stories’ since his last studio album release, working for 2 years to craft a studio album that he feels represents his melodic style and themes. Avicii also said to fans saying that he’s relieved he’s “finally finished my album!….feels so good!”

Talking about his release, the 2 time Grammy-nominated producer said that “All the songs have a story I wanted to tell”. The 14 song album builds on Bergling’s experiences since his multi platinum release album ‘TRUE’ have been documented in the new album, from playing in front of 80,000 fans in Stockholm and selling half a million tickets for the TRUE TOUR to having to cancel due to illness a year worth of tour dates. Bergling wanted to build on his success and experience, rather than depart from it.

In conjunction with his album announcement, Avicii has announced a double single release, with two new tracks being released from the album; “For a Better Day” and “Pure Grinding”.
