#EDM Is Back On Instagram

After merely a day since Instagram banned #edm, the viral outrage has reached a breaking point. The company has since made a swift return to calm the public and brought back the hashtag. Previously, Instagram made #EDM unsearchable, nullifying the tag – which led to world-wide discussion on if the action is justified. Well now, we have our justice served.

The community has voiced their anger against the unfair ban to the much-loved hashtag in the hours that it was down. With reasonable arguments posted via Twitter and Facebook: “Why is #EDM banned but not #ISIS”, and “Do you see any other #genre banned?” Instagram has come to its senses and reinstated the hashtag so that we could once again share our love for the genre with our family and friends.
