Originating from South Africa, Goldfish have seen a rapid rise into the limelight over the past couple of years. With elements of electronic bands like Groove Armada and Basement Jaxx, the pair has created a funk-infused reputation with a distinction – something not easy to acquire.

The Cape Town Natives, Domic Peters and David Poole have already created award-winning albums and developed a live DJ show that blends recorded sound with live percussion, string, woodwind and brass.

It was a collective sound that was picked by Radio 1’s Pete Tong as his Album Of The Summer, marking the band as ones to watch.  After scooping a record-breaking 8 nominations at the 2009 South African Music Awards, Goldfish’  third studio album, ‘Get Busy Living’ led them to become one of South Africa’s biggest musical exports. Producing and remixing with the likes of Fedde Le Grand and supported the likes of Dr Dre, Faithless, Sebastian Ingrosso and Pete Tong.

Touring the planet from the Sydney Opera House to the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium, from Miami to Sao Paulo to London and beyond, from Glastonbury and Sensation White to Ultra Music Festival Miami, the versatility and diverse appeal of the pair is quite something.

Announcing their second tour of the US and Canada, Goldfish look set to continue the massive amount of traction gained this year by touring North America. Hitting Chicago, Fort Collins, Aspen, Colorado Springs, St Louis, Whistler, Vancouver, Seattle, Eugene, Austin and Del Mar from 4th September to 19th September, Goldfish will end things
on a high with an anticipated performance at KAABOO Festival in San Diego and 2 special Halloween dates in San Francisco and Live Oak, wrapping up a stellar planned 6 months
