Mysterious DJ ‘1 RDJ’ releases debut track on Spinnin’ Records

A month ago Spinnin’ Records premiered the upcoming release of a rather unknown artist with a very distinct sound.

This week the unknown artist gets a release on Spinnin’ Records sub-label Oxygen under the ‘1RDJ‘ moniker. Though there is not much known about either the name or the personality behind the whole act, the song speaks volumes about what can be expected.  Chord progressions accompanied by vocal sample snippets, the track is a refreshing one compared to the usual ones that are doing rounds in the mainstream scene. While the melody is reminiscent of Eric Prydz’s ‘Pjanoo’, the intention of the track is made clear as it goes on. A simple and beautifully crafted melodic dance track, that is all it is! And the summer release, is timely too.

Hopefully, we’ll come to know the artist behind the composition with time unless he chooses to follow the footsteps of Daft Punk and Twoloud, of course, not musically but appearance-wise. Until then, here is a ‘First’ from him that you can enjoy!
