Armin van Buuren & Hardwell Combine Forces For ‘Off The Hook’

Here is something that only comes around once in a few years, current #1 DJ Hardwell collaborates with Armin van Buuren, who had the honor to receive the award 5 times in all, with a distinction of doing it 4 years in a row.

Two of Electronic Music’s vanguard artists collaborate on their track titled ‘Off The Hook’, premiered as the Tune Of The Week on the 730th edition of Armin’s A State Of Trance Podcast. The show host introduces the fellow Dutchman and collaborator as someone who has a really “clear idea about his sound”.

As the ASOT voice samples fade out, the track takes over with heavy lead sounds. The whole sound is a very uncanny cross between the Acid sound and the more recent Electronic styles, notably from the Trance camp. The contributions of both the collaborators is eminent and the styles are reminiscent of their hits, namely Hardwell’s Triangles and Armin’s Ping Pong, even though the track doesn’t set its foot any one direction or genre. Nevertheless, this is a unique production from the two Dutchmen and with their participation in the production, the track is sure to get a lot of support.
