Home Music Electro House Exclusive: The Weeknd – I Can’t Feel My Face (Teamworx Remix)

Teamworx may not be globally known, or even on your radar of artists names. However, we have a hunch that won’t be the case for much longer. Their huge remix of The Weeknd’s chart-topper “I Can’t Feel My Face” brings it from the iTunes and Billboard rankings to the electronic industry and festival scene. The anthemic production only gets better with more volume, a sign that the level of production is of a high standard. But quality production doesn’t count for much if its chords, layers and beat don’t culminate in an auditory indulgence.

The dynamic nature of the track and its sounds breathes a refreshing new lease of life into one of The Weeknd’s finest productions. Taking the timeless vocals and leading them towards a huge melodic sequence of chords that bring a euphoric atmosphere, it quickly breaks down again for the energized drop. With a beat-led progression, the multiple layers can still be identified in their effect and collective impact, heightening the senses even more. The phrase ‘twice as nice’ has never been more applicable with the melodic build up and artistic drop returning once again to make the peak-time even more emphatic.

Already having their Hardwell On Air debut on Episode 233, Teamworx’ track has already received significant standing since they first played it earlier last month. With the likes of Dannic, Bassjackers, Firebeatz and Ummet Ozcan supporting the remix, the Israeli duo have continued their streak of form since their remix of Major Lazer’s sumemr soundtrack “Lean On” was played on many of the headlining sets throughout the summer season.
