“We Are Your Friends” Succeeds, Tops the Billboard Chart

Remember a few weeks ago when “We Are Your Friends” didn’t quite meet the expectations of it’s creators and media-analysts, and grossed only $1.8 million across the United States? Well, it seems like the failure of the movie in the box office charts was compensated for, by it’s soundtrack of all things.

Featuring tracks by some of electronic music’s finest, such as,Deorro, Tchami, Kygo, Hook N Sling and many others, the compilation album scored a massive success in the Billboard’s Top Dance/Elecronic Album chart, dethroning Jack Ü and claiming the number 1 spot. Yet another example that music always comes first.
