Following the huge success of Tiesto and KSHMR’s massive collab ‘Secrets’ together with Aussie vocalist Vassy, the remix package has finally been released on Musical Freedom. Diplo, Don Diablo, David Zowie, Felon, ZAXX and Riggi & Piros were all on remix duties for this one, and they did not disappoint. This diverse package offers something for everyone and covers a range of genres.

First up we have Don Diablo, who produced not one, but two remixes. Don has been one of the standout producers this year, both through his originals and his remixes, and he shows once again that he can be creative and versatile by delivering these two tracks with very different vibes. The VIP mix, which was premiered last month, incorporates a fiercely energetic drop underpinned with bass-driven ‘future’ synths, whilst the latest mix is more melodic, with powerful piano chords and that signature Don Diablo sound.

Up next we have David Zowie, the man who brought us ‘House Every Weekend’, and he delivers another funky deep house track. With Vassy’s vocals looped throughout the track, the crashes and cymbals combine with a grimy bass to create a seriously groovy vibe. This song will work well at a chilled pool party and on a packed nightclub dance floor.

British trio Felon also added their touch to the track, creating a tropical vibe during the break with some nice chords and plucks, before arriving at the drop which switches to a modern day disco sound. Despite the deep house synths, there is something quite uplifting about this remix – it is a feel-good track.

One of the biggest names in dance music, Diplo, also took up the opportunity to remix the track and delivered yet another quality trap remix. With global hits reaching the #1 spot on Spotify with ‘Lean On’ as Major Lazer, and ‘Where Are Ü Now’ as the acclaimed Jack Ü duo with Skrillex, Diplo doesn’t seem to be resting with so many tracks under his name coming out lately, and this time he does it solo. In Tiësto’s words, the remix has a certain island feel, especially when the vocals come in during the break. And whilst this is true, the drop is also a proof that Diplo can still make dirty trap.

It is no secret that Tiesto is a huge fan of US teenager ZAXX – the youngster recently released his track ‘Alpha’ on Tiesto’s label, and has now produced an official remix for the man himself. Together with duo Jaylex, the trio combine forces to bring us a huge progressive track. The combination of sliding supersaws, an electric bass, cymbals and drums result in a track full of energy that will be sure to go down a treat at upcoming festivals.

Last but not least, we have Riggi & Piros’ remix, who once again show their unique sound design skills. This remix is also progressive, with a sharp lead synth and a stuttering bass. The melody is catchy – you can hear elements of ‘Tremor’ in it, and overall this is another solid production for the American duo.

All remixes are Available now.
