Steve Angello drops “Children Of The Wild” video and releases date for upcoming album “Wild Youth”
Steve Angello is back at it again dropping the music video for the highly anticipated “Children Of The Wild”, featuring the vocals of LA duo, Mako.
Fans were left disappointed a few months ago, as his highly debut album “Wild Youth” was expected to drop in April, but suffered a delay instead. But at last, Steve Angello has announced that the LP is getting released on November 20 – Hallelujah!
Last December Steve Angello hinted that fans should not expect a pop crossover album, but should instead expect a more indie and darker LP.
“It’s electronic music, it’s not dance music. It’s an attempt to create a hybrid of all of the music I love and all music I have been inspired by throughout all of these years, and I have made them into songs. I am not trying to do pop. A lot of producers are trying to go towards the whole EDM/pop clash, and this is different. It’s more indie, melancholic, darker, but still some big songs.”
The video for “Children Of The Wild” is a correct representation of the album itself, a darker side to Angello’s recent hits. Director Guillaume Panariello has done a great job at stitching just a few scenes, filmed at 1000 frames per second, giving viewers a slow motion video that’s strikingly detailed and emotional atmosphere.
Another occasion for celebration, with the Swedish maestro having just announced the official release date for his upcoming album “Wild Youth”, set to be released on November 20th.
