UK Garage Singer Craig David Gives ‘Where Are Ü Now’ A Unique Twist
Just a few days ago, BBC Radio 1 Xtra aired a clip of Craig David perform an impromptu rap over Jack U and Justin Biebers infectious summer tune ‘Where Are U Now’. Jamming the lyrics of ‘Fill Me In’ to the wonky beats of Skrillex and Diplo would presumably pose a monumental task for most. However, David manages to pull of a full freestyle of the crossover, with seamless transitions and perfect timing.
We’ve heard numerous multi genre remixes of the tune, however, the ‘rap’ trophy case lies empty. To full in the void, this R&B makeover do one hell of a job.
