Bright Lights – Runaway (feat. 3LAU)

It has been a real treat watching 3LAU emerge as an artist.  Four years ago, he was producing his signature mashup series ‘Dance Floor Filth’ and touring college campuses; I remember seeing him perform at my school’s Spring Fling in 2012.  Fast forward to two years, he produced one of 2014’s biggest hits in ‘How You Love Me’ and is playing main stages at festivals like Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival.  Justin Blau’s story is proof that if you continue to work hard, good things will happen.

After a string of hugely successful Progressive House releases like the aforementioned ‘How You Love Me,’ ‘Escape’ with Paris & Simo and ‘Somehow’ with the legendary Dash Berlin3LAU’s newest production with Bright Lights veers away from his familiar House style and turns to a more funky, Trap record called ‘Runaway’ and it is largely successful adventure.  The track features a catchy vocal loop that combines well with the underlying cymbals, piano, and synths that make the beat.  It is definitely a fresh sound from the 3LAU and Bright Lights partnership and really shows the versatility of the two artists.  We are definitely excited to hear some more productions from both of these incredible artists.

‘Runaway’ is available now on iTunes.
