It’s very rare that we see the two completely different worlds of orchestral music and electronic dance music come together, like for example Carl Craig did in 2008 with France’s Les Siècles Orchestra at the Cité de la Musique in Paris. Now, we are once again able to listen to such a collaboration, as about an year ago, Brian Transeau, widely known as BT announced his Kickstart project.

The project is titled Electronic Opus, raised over $250,000 and the very talented video game composer Tommy Talarico helped bring it into reality. The album consists of 14 BT tracks that have been transformed into dance and classical music hybrids, featuring the best of both worlds.

You can buy the album here and also check BT’s preview of “Dreaming” on his Soundcloud page.
