Now, back to Anjunabeats and good music. Scottish DJ and Producer Graeme Shepherd or Grum, is well known due to his constant involvement in the Electronic Music scene ever since his 2010 hit ‘Heartbreaker’ had surfaced after the launch of the album of the same name. He was subsequently voted as the ‘Best Electronic Artist of the year’ by UK iTunes, and since then there has been no looking back for him. Always top drawer Progressive sounds from him be it in remixes or originals, he is back with the release of his highly anticipated Something About You / First Contact EP on Anjunabeats.

Grum – Something About You

The two song EP opens with ‘Something About You’. Eerie vocal snippets and the now usual progressive sounds of Anjunabeats kick off the track only to be graced by a male – female vocal duet decoration which only sets up the absorbing melody that Grum has in store for the listeners. Melodic, pitch perfect and Progressive sound at its best, Grum gives no reason to disagree with this better half of the EP.

Grum – First Contact

The quick end to the EP is ‘First Contact’. It has got good music written all over it. Yet again showcasing his Progressive prowess on the production table, Grum creates this track which, though would only be under the shadow of the latter half of the EP, is no less in the worthy of appreciation. After Grum played this in his Anjunadeep ABGT 150 Afterparty set in Sydney, we expect to hear this one in more of Deep House sets!

The 2 track EP is available here for purchase.
