Hardwell drops eclectic one-hour mix for Apple Music’s ‘Beats One’

In the light of the recent frustration that DJ Mag has become for one and all, Hardwell took no prisoners as he lashed out at the now #1 “DJs” in the world according to DJ Mag. Though the list hardly means anything to those who are in it for the music, the debate regarding the crown will always be partisan, one between the winners and runners up.

Bad blood aside, Hardwell is one who lets the music do the talking. He ushers us music through the 6th edition of the ‘Apple Music Beats One Mix’, an honor that has only been enjoyed by Hudson Mohawke, Drum & Bass hero Netsky, Progressive masters Steve Angello and Eric Prydz and none other than the DJ Mag winners Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

The Dutchman kicks off this mix with his recent single Mad World along with fellow Dutch singer and songwriter Jake Reese. Exclusively showcasing only his own music along with a few mashups from his production desk, the mix includes bucket load of IDs and remixes. The mix features music from KSHMR, Quintino, Skrillex & Diplo, Afrojack, Chuckie among others.
