Quintino – Scorpion (Hardwell Edit)
Hardwell‘s new edit of Quintinos ‘Scorpion‘ sent fans into a tizzy when it was first premiered during one of the Dutch superstars sets. Moving past its crowd-testing phase, the edit has now finally been premiered on Hardwells radio Show ‘Hardwell On Air‘.
Over the years, we have come to expect a lot from our worlds number #2 DJ in terms of production and creativity. So far, its fair to say that we haven’t been severely let down. This, only until now.
With a run-of-the-mill bigroom edit and highly generic melodies and song structure, Hardwells seemingly unstoppable 2015 run has come to an abrupt halt. Just when we thought the producer was picking up momentum with the likes of ‘Mad World‘ and ‘Follow Me‘, this track, with no real creative elements and nothing original, fails to meet even our merest expectations. In a show of downright laziness and lack of motivation, Hardwell closes the month of October on a disappointing note.
Out November 2 on Revealed Recordings.
