Russia strikes again! We Rave You has been blessed with stellar mixes for its podcasts throughout the year, with you Russian Amersy dropping an hour mix that is up with some of the best we’ve had to date.

After triumphing in Nicky Romero’s Beatport Remix competition at the age of 16, and having a number of releases on prestigious labels like Axtone, Refune, Doorn Records, Protocol Records and Armada Trice, young Max is receiving major support from artists such as Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Alesso, Steve Angello and David Guetta – not bad status to have before you hit 2o. Joining up with with fellow Russian and our last podcast curator, Shapov, for “Vavilon”, the Russian prodigy has accomplished a lot more than most by the age of 19. With a genre-hoping reputation, some of Amersy’s most recent tracks include, his remix of Hard Rock Sofa’s “Let Me Hear You Scream” which dropped on SIZE records and “Air”, premiering on the legendary A State of Trance 720 and. And if “Paradox” and “Go”are also a sign of whats to come, Amersy’s 2016 is looking in very good health with the back of end of 2015 seeing him already climbing rapidly up the reputation ladder.

While one of the shortest track-lists from our guests so far, the phrase ‘less is more’ has never been so right. Allowing the atmosphere to fully mature for each track, Amersy demonstrates the maturation as a DJ/Producer he’s enjoyed over the past couple of years. Infusing 6 of his own magical works into the 60 minutes, the lack of vocals puts focus on the musical production and mastering, leaving no room to hide for the mixing skills present throughout.

Compiled with rhythmic beats, melody and groove, the euphoric hour has its atmosphere span the electronic dance music spectrum. Opening with NewJack’s “Stay Together” the tone is quickly moved up a couple of energy-notches with the input of Vicetone’s addictive “Catch Me” and his very own “Paradox”. The episode’s pulsating tempo continues on combining the likes of of Michael Brun and Denix Koyu alongside one of his most exciting ID’s.  With another ID with Kill The Crowd bringing in the half hour mark, the Russian maestro’s mix of NERVO’s “Rise Early Morning” leaves addictive listening experience for the second half.

With the likes of Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman joining Jebu’s hypnotic “Consequences” in the lead up to back to back plays of Amersy’s original material, you forget the curator of Episode 7 is yet to enter adulthood fully, carrying a sculpted mix right through to the end. With big names such as Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Tom Staar, Kryder and Daft Punk rounding out the emphatic hour with the timeless dimension “On My Way”, “The Hum” and “One More Time” carry with them, it easy to say it’s one of the best endings we’ve had to an Episode. High-octane energy pulsating until the end, Amersy definitely puts the ‘Rave’ in We Rave You.

Wrapping up Episode 7 and the latest edition of We Rave You’s Podcasts is no easy task. With the credibility and reputation ever consistent, and ever improving, the Russian infusion of late has certainly left a difficult standard to match. With exclusive ID’s riddled without, Amersy’s future is ominously set for big moves, giving us a generous glimpse into his new additions to his production catalogue and set arsenal. And with a rumored exclusive premiere on We Rave You in the near future, it’s never been a better time to be Amersy and his fans.
