Unreleased But Unforgotten: Tube & Berger – Set It Off (Kryder Remix)

Steve Angello dropped this stunning remix of Tube & Berger’s ‘Set It Off’ almost a year ago on his BBC Radio 1 set;  a release date never saw the light of day. Kryder’s been teasing the groove cartel crowd with IDs for quite a while, but this remix of a classic has progressive house fans begging for a release. We ourselves went to deep lengths to find some clarity; speaking to Kryder at this years ADE, he could only confirm that there isn’t a set release date and that label conflicts have drowned this remix.

The track encompasses Tube & Berger’s iconic cow bell melody and muffled up vocals, with Kryder injecting a pulsating bass-line combined with a powerful riff. Finding a sweet spot between tech and progressive house music, this is something you definitely need to hear if you haven’t heard already.
