Calvin Harris Wins The ‘Best EDM Artist of 2015’ Award At AMAs

World famous Electronic Dance Music superstar and part-time model Calvin Harris has proven his worth by certifying his credentials by being awarded the ‘Best EDM Artist of 2015’ award at the recent American Music Awards. Also contending for the award were fellow EDM global hotshots David Guetta and Zedd though America chose Calvin Harris to be crowned the top Electronic Dance Music star for the year.

The win may be the talk of the town due to the unprecedented amount of paparazzi attention and page 3 gossip that surrounds the British artist but that is not to say that production skill and talent are not involved. For whatever it is worth, the award puts him to be the America’s choice to pit against Martin Garrix who was adjudged the Best EDM artist at the MTV European Music Awards.

The Skrillex & Diplo duo of ‘Jack Ü’ won the award for the collaboration of the year for their track ‘Where Are Ü Now’ along with Justin Bieber.
