Deadmau5 surprises us with new track “Imaginary Friends”

Following his Twitch stream marathon, where the mau5 allowed fans to watch him go through the entire creative process of producing a tune; Deadmau5 decided to upload the completed project to his soundcloud, and it really is quite a quality production.

In typical Deadmau5 fashion, we get beautifully done synth work, an incredibly powerful buildup, and a funky yet gritty drop that you just can’t help but be keen on.  We can only hope that he has more tunes on the way, as we haven’t heard a full release in quite some time. With speculation of a Jean-Michel Jarre collab, consider us nothing but excited, and anxious.
