Look back at deadmau5 being interviewed by the Swedish House Mafia

Dance music moves very, very fast. It’s easy to get caught up in the modern day news articles and blogs and sometimes we forget that the people we love and listen to are humans too.

deadmau5 is one such character in dance music who has never been shy of controversy, from his early run ins with Marcus Schossow to the recent and hugely publicized twitter conversation with Skrillex Joel Zimmerman has always had his fair share of “haters” and ridicule-rs who are constantly slating a man who makes music for everything but his music.

Having had his fair share of arguments with DJs, it’s nice to look back at what may seem like an eternity ago (2012) and see the mau5 being interview by probably the most mainstream dance act of our generation and a group of producers who have also had their fair share of controversy -the Swedish House Mafia in a somewhat surprising combination. As you can see the 4 get on just fine and as we should expect-are friends just doing what they love for a living. It makes us realize that these arguments may be taken a little out of context sometimes and slightly blown out of proportion when we should really be looking at what matters-the music.
