Major Lazer’s “Lean On” is Spotify’s most streamed song, ever

Major Lazer and DJ Snake probably didn’t predict the unprecedented success their collaboration with MO, “Lean On” has had. Topping the electronic music scene and mainstream charts all summer, and continuing to dominate the radio airwaves, it’s momentum hasn’t seemed to of slowed at all!

After being titled Spotify’s global song of the summer for the most plants between 1st Junes and 31st August, it has no extended it’s number of streams to become it’s most streamed track ever. Going platinum after 5 months in August would have no doubt been satisfying enough, with the latest accolade is probably just a cherry on top for Major Lazer, DJ Snake and MO.
