NGHTMRE Teams Up With the truth Campaign for His Next Track
NGHTMRE has had quite a successful year with the release of ‘Street,‘ which is one of our favorite songs to hear in a set, a funky remix of Griz’s ‘Stop Trippin,’ and a truly stellar Diplo & Friends mix. His next project could provide to be his most intriguing though, teaming with truth to help spread awareness about the dangers of smoking and lung cancer. Its not too often that you see artist’s use their popularity to speak out and help with issues that are important to them. Earlier this Fall, we had Axwell^Ingrosso join forces to help out Syrian refugees and we have seen artists team up with (RED) in the past as well, but it is the few and not the many unfortunately. NGHTMRE took to Facebook to explain the meaning of the campaign to him, stating:
“I don’t always get personal with you guys, but I’ve had multiple relatives pass away from lung cancer due to smoking cigarettes so this is something I really support. I’m writing a new tune for the truth “It’s a Trap” campaign and we need your help with the lyrics! Comment with the most ridiculous smoking excuse you’ve heard and it could be used as a lyric for my track!”
