Ever since the ‘EDM’ scene boomed into being the mainstream music of the day, the dire need of quality is a thing that everyone has been after. Providing the uncompromising source of that quality is Axtone. A label that prides itself of being solely after quality House music and is often recognized to release tracks which are classics in their own right, need not be praised anymore. A very uncanny statistic that I may put my finger on is that Axtone may be the only label whose artworks are readily sought after by the fans. Such is the quality of the label.

Nevertheless, the impact that the label has had on the present Electronic Dance Music scene is massive. The mellow tune and nostalgic memories attached to Adrian Lux’ ‘Teenage Crime’, the energizing melody from Michael Calfan’s ‘Ressurection’, the iconic vocals from Deborah Cox on the equally iconic SHM & Laidback Luke hit ‘Leave The World Behind’, the ecstatic ‘Sunrise (Won’t Get Lost)‘ from The Aston Shuffle & Tommy Trash and the classic take from Otto Knows on Don Diablo & Matt Nash’s ‘Starlight’ are all the overpowering tracks that have had their influence on the EDM scene and the recent releases are yet to show what they have in store.
