SoundCloud Announce New Mobile App ‘Pulse’

SoundCloud have been struggling this past year, dealing with copyright claims from major labels, as well as the angry mob of users who got their music taken down.

They have been working hard to please their users and recently announced some “exciting” news. SoundCloud are launching their first mobile app for creators, called SoundCloud Pulse, currently available only for Android devices. The application will serve as a companion app to the already existing SoundCloud mobile application, giving creators the ability to manage their accounts and connect with fans easier.

SoundCloud Pulse is not available for iOS devices, however you can download the 1.0 version from the Google Play Store. The application will let you do the same things you are already able to do on your SoundCloud app, but faster and easier:

  • Reply to comments on your tracks, on the go
  • Get up-to-date stats on the performance of your tracks
  • Share your sounds, both publicly and privately
  • Follow other users

Additional features that customers can expect are:

  • More in-depth stats
  • The ability to edit track information
  • Expanded messaging capability
  • The ability to upload tracks

The new app and features won’t be able to keep the unhappy users on the platform, but at least will give the current Android users the opportunity to connect easier with their fans.
