Sultan + Shepard are distinguished in their own right nowadays, with their latest track no exception. Pairing up with Felix Leiter, they show their groovier side on Mixmash Records newest addition “BWU”. And having just curated Mixmash Records latest Weekly Selection Playlist on Spotify, there’s plenty of Sultan + Shepard to go around!

One of the figure-head artists of progressive house, Sultan + Shephard have amounted an impressive career portfolio. From Grammy nominations, to co-writing David Guetta’s “Bad”, their recognition in the mainstream spotlight is significant. On top of this, having collaborated with the likes of Dillon Francis and had major releases on Armada, Doorn and Spinnin’, it’s fair to say their residency in Las Vegas and performances at Ultra Miami, Tomorrowland and ADE earlier this year come as no surprise.

While lesser-known, Felix Leiter is certainly not lacking experience within the electronic dance music circles. Having been a promoter, disk jockey and producer, Leiter has played alongside Calvin Harris, Alesso, Sander Van Doorn and Axwell. And having performed at the likes of Pacha, Ministry of Sound and Digital UK, his wealth of knowledge of the club is very hard to rival for someone of his age.

Filled with a piano-based melody, deep house and disco elements, the soulful male vocals come into their own. With a rich atmosphere, dance floors are necessitated to be filled with people raving. With a strong bridge and consistent layering, the track really does leave you in an uplifted and energized mood.
