In 2013 the famed dance music blog BMD(Beat My Day) suddenly went silent without any activity for years, but in mid September this year a message was posted with the message ”It’s been a while, let’s begin the real journey.”. Beat My Day was relaunched under the name ’BMD Ψ Friends’, which was later revealed to be a record label with a unique creative orientation. The weeks past and the newly started label received a heartwarming welcome and overwhelming support from artists and fans alike, they had undoubtedly been missed. In the beginning of November it was finally time for BMD Ψ Friends first official release, which received a world premiere from none other than hit-making Swede Avicii.

The track remained a mystery, but the artists behind the release were announced to be Wess & Aleksandar Galoski. The ID was later revealed as ”Rokavela” in an exclusive feature on Hardwell On Air. ’Rokavela’ gained support from top industry names such as: Avicii, NEW_ID, Hardwell, Paris & Simo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Otto Knows, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman and many more. BMD Ψ Friends’s journey in the industry had started!

Only a week after their first official release it was time for a new project and ’A.D.S.R’ was presented to the world. The project involved the very talented songwriter and designer David Vrong, who would release four new tracks over the course of one month and after the final release BMD would host an art exhibition. The goal and purpose of the project was to demonstrate how closely music and art actually are in regard to the creativity process. A unique concept for the dance music industry!

Following the fourth and final release of the A.D.S.R project, the exhibition was revealed. The exhibition which is set to be hosted in Stockholm on the 12th of December is a non-profit event and all proceeds go to the Swedish organisation ’Vi Gör Vad Vi Kan’(We Do What We Can) in benefit to aid refugees. The event will start of with an exhibition and auction, where David Vrong will present the artwork to a musical story-board under the theme ’Attack. Decay. Sustain. Release’. To top the night off, the event will transform into a club party which will be host to: John Dahlbäck, Josefin Rosén, Familjen(DJ-set), David Vrong and Hellberg. A solid lineup to say the least…

As mentioned the exhibition and party is a non-profit event, and all artists are doing this heart-warming gesture 100% free (Solidaritet Nightclub will also donate part of its earnings). If you are in Stockholm, make sure to attend, because this will certainly be a night to remember!

See you there.
