Daft Punk Documentary Heading to U.S. Television
Two of the industry’s most iconic figures have unquestionably aided the rise of dance music. Daft Punk, who notably won six Grammy awards out of twelve nominations, has been in correlation with EDM’s growth due to their massive success one hit after another. From “Da Funk” to “Get Lucky”, it is intriguing, for many fans, to witness what occurred behind the scenes of these two legendary masterminds over the past two decades.
Thankfully, U.S. residents will have the ability to relive Daft Punk’s journey from their beginnings in Paris to touring across the globe. Daft Punk’s documentary, titled ‘Unchained’, will be televised in the U.S. in which the story of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo is told.
Consisting of rare and never-before-seen footage, the documentary is an absolute must-watch for every EDM fan. Several interviews of renowned artists such as Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Pete Tong, and Giorgio Moroder are also included in which they talk about their own perspectives on these two revolutionary musicians.
‘Unchained’ will be broadcasted on Thursday, December 10th on the Showtime network and be sure to tune in!
