Diplo ends the year with his Best of 2015 Mix
Diplo was undoubtedly one of the busiest DJ’s and producers all throughout 2015. From managing his Mad Decent label to throwing big parties around the world, Diplo was more preoccupied than ever this year. In addition, the Los Angeles-based producer had other endeavors working on projects for Major Lazer and collaborating with Skrillex as Jack Ü. Diplo’s hard work paid off at the end, however, as he was able to achieve many awards and records such as winning the American Music Awards’ “Collaboration of the Year” for his song “Where Are Ü Now” with Skrillex and Justin Bieber.
As a celebration for an incredible year, Diplo presents his 2-hour “Best of 2015 Mix” that highlights many of this year’s best music. He finishes the year off with a special and final episode of ‘Diplo & Friends’ on BBC Radio 1, which delivers a consistently high energy from start to finish.
The mix kicks off with Skrillex & Diplo’s track “Beats Knockin” and many of Diplo’s other tracks are featured throughout the entire mix as well. Some hip-hop influence floods the mix with included remixes of songs from Drake, Fetty Wap, and Kendrick Lamar. Tracks from some of Diplo’s friends are also played such as those from Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, and Valentino Khan. With the massive year Diplo has had as concluded by this wrap-up mix, we now look forward to what the superstar has in stored for next year.
