The formidable Swedish duo of Miike Snow’s Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw, or Style of Eye, has been in a never-ending roller coaster ride ever since its establishment. Better known together as Galantis, the two producers have been busy releasing hits such as “Runaway (U&I)” and “Peanut Butter Jelly”, which contributed to their spot in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100. In addition, Galantis have been touring around the world either by hosting their own shows or by playing at some of the biggest clubs and festivals.

Traveling across the globe, however, is not stopping for these two incredible talents. In fact, Galantis have recently announced their tour around Europe and in the United States. Speaking to one of Ireland’s media organizations, RTÉ, about their upcoming tour, Linus Eklöw stated:

“We’ve been working pretty hard on setting up the European tour and we always bring the highest energy. That’s why we travel the globe. We can’t sit still on stage. We like to bring our favourite gear from the studio with us on the road – all of the drums just keep on getting bigger and bigger. We are constantly changing things up and every show is different. I don’t think we could live with ourselves if we stuck to a fixed set. We always have options so it can go left or right.”

As 2015 comes to a close, many fans are now wondering what is next for Galantis besides touring. Hinting at a possible album coming out next year, Eklöw also told RTÉ:

“We are going to tour a lot in 2016 and we are constantly working on new music. There’s going to be a lot of new music coming out next year. I’m hoping for another album to see the day of light. We are going to try and reach all of the corners of the world next year.”

Following the success of their debut album, ‘Pharmacy’, the duo looks to release another one in 2016 with the momentum still in their hands. With their world tour and their upcoming music already planned for next year, expect Galantis to reach even greater heights in the electronic scene and to continue to amaze the world with their musical prowess.
