Just when you thought KSHMR‘s emphatic 2015 was coming to a close with release of “Bazaar”, there seem’s to be another treat emerging from the depths that will add even more shine to the 2016 on the horizon. His little known collaboration with Zaxx is starting to rise to the spotlight after spending the majority of the year as a scattered snippet across media platforms. And once again, we’re more than satisfied.
Having remixed W&W, Tiesto, KSHMR, DVBBS and Martin Garrix, as well as featured on W&W’s Mainstage label and Musical Freedom, New-York-native Zaxx has certainly left his mark on the scene alongside some of it’s biggest name in just over a year. With a portfolio also primed with original material, you start to gauge as to why he has caught the eye of the now iconic KSHMR.
Once again a KSHMR production is characterized by its distinctive presence and sound. And as the title suggests, it has a deeper, darker vibe than many of his other releases this year. Topped with a tantalizing female voice, the developing energy levels bubble with tension as the siren-like synths and pumping beat lead into a deep, rhythmic progression-like drop. Filled with crafted FX as so many of KSHMR’s productions are, the edgier atmosphere also reflects Zaxx’s influence on the track. Evolving into a more melodic sequence, with plucky chords, “Deeper’s” dynamic nature really enforces an active reaction to the track.
