Tomorrowland in Spain? We don’t exactly think so.

Home Uncategorized Tomorrowland in Spain? We don’t exactly think so.

Earlier today we saw some breaking reports that Tomorrowland announced Madrid, Spain as their location for the magical dance music festival.  The post comes from Resident Advisor and is quite vague in its entirety. To quote the article:

Tomorrowland will host its first Spanish edition in July 2016.

The festival powerhouse already hosts fantasy-themed events in Belgium, Brazil and the USA, attracting hundreds of thousands of revellers. No lineup has been revealed for the Spanish edition, which will take place at Ciudad Del Rock on Monday, July 25th, a national holiday. The venue is situated in Arganda Del Rey, a municipality of Madrid, roughly 30 minutes from the city centre.

While this would be fantastic news, we now believe this is but a cruel prank on behalf of Spain’s own “Fools Day“.  The simple fact remains that the Belgium edition of the massive is scheduled for  July 22nd-24th. According to the article, Spain’s TL would be the day right after – which sounds less than likely, to be frank.

While there is no official word in either direction, I’d ease on the side of skepticism in this case, as much as we all wish it were actually true.
