Virus T Studio Selection Vol.4

Home Uncategorized Virus T Studio Selection Vol.4

Set up in 2011 by Riccardo Tesini, Virus T Studio has gained significant international recognition, feedback and success with the last 4 years. Helping nurture and showcase new talents, as well as be a platform for those already in the spotlight, Virus T Studio has certainly played its part in helping electronic dance music be the size it is globally today.

Having had names such as Gregori Klosman, Lush & Simon and Vinai on their roster, a compilation of their talents and tastes is certainly no small occasion. Not only a reflection of the label, but also the music scene, the Virus T Studio Selection Volume 4, comes off the back of 3 evidently popular versions before.

Spanning trance elements, electro house, big room and disco to name a few of the genre’s in Vol.4, the blend of original material and remixes also see’s many familiar names surface once again on Virus T Studio material. With the likes of Mike Lucas & Simon Beta, Asterjackers and ShamRockerS making a number of appearances again, the fostering persona of the label is certainly demonstrated once more.

Carrying high octane energy throughout, the compilation reflects the label and its artists festival and club experience. With sounds ranging across the cultural spectrum, the diversity in production and nationalities is also present. With instruments scattered regularly throughout the tracks, the likes of “Sunrise” and “Sun” are able to flex their melodic muscles. Joined by blissful chordal progressions intermittently spread throughout, the big-room essence is evident from TAVA’s start. With Vinai’s “Discovery” and Gerad Kidman’s “Boiler” bringing bombastic bass and heavy beats, it’s kept in check with the likes of Chicco Guiliani’s “To The Music” which brings a more disco edge and funkier rhythm and Luca Novelli’s trance-infused “Flood”.
