2015 was unquestionably a breakout year for deep house and future house mastermind Oliver Heldens. The Dutch producer has garnered much success from his prominent releases such as “Melody” and “Shades of Grey” and from his memorable performances at big festivals including Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland. As a result, Heldens became one of the top climbers on last year’s DJ Mag Top 100 after rising all the way to the list’s 12th spot.

Last year was also a huge success for Melbourne’s up-and-coming producer Throttle. Known for his “dirty disco” style, this artist has received the support of numerous fans and fellow producers. From his releases on the Monstercat label to his remixes of massive hits such as Avicii’s “You Make Me”, Throttle’s music is nothing short of incredible. Especially with his latest release called “September”, alongside Earth, Wind, & Fire, Throttle ended 2015 in style and is now set to begin the year with great momentum in hand.

After their triumphant run last year, both Oliver Heldens and Throttle are kicking off the new year with another future hit. Titled “Waiting”, the track features a collision between two distinct styles of music. While some combinations tend to not mesh well with collaborative work, Heldens’ future house sounds and Throttle’s signature disco style blend impeccably in this brand new tune.

Right from the get-go, Throttle’s soothing disco sounds rejuvenate our ears alongside the astounding vocals of the track. Kicking off with a funky delivery, the track will make anyone dance right off the bat. Heldens’ signature rhythm and deep basslines then enter, which perfectly sum up this groovy and euphoric production. With this exquisitely crafted collaboration, Heldens and Throttle showcase their prowess to the world once again and are now set to conquer 2016.

“Waiting” is out now via Heldeep Records and you can grab a copy here.
