Dr. Shiver fuses Jazz and Deep House with “Runaway”

Dr. Shiver is not just the CEO of Art & Music Recordings, he’s also a 32 to year old with over 17 years experience in the industry. And than in itself speaks volumes about the Italian disk-jockey, producer and label head.

The self-taught pianist had done the rounds as an international musician, having played at major Blues and Jazz festivals before moving towards a dance/pop/R&B direction as a producer and songwriter. Setting up his label nearly 15 years ago, the offer of a studio, audio, video, web and graphical services have continued to distinguish Art & Music Recordings from numerous others.

Having had his hand in creating a track for Eurovision, Dr. Shiver has also seen his progressive house songs chart highly in the Beatport rankings. And with full garnered support from the likes of John Christian, Morgan Page, David Guetta, Avicii, Ummet Ozcan and R3hab, his material has become even more potent with its release.

Bringing out “Runaway” just before the New Year Dr. Shiver has paired up the smooth vocals of Nya. Infused with Jazz sounds, the Italian’s history influences the atmosphere throughout the layers. Blending the saxophonic tones with a deeper, groovy house basis, the touches of piano chords add a more raw, instrumental aspect to the almost mystical fusion of sub-genre’s and sounds.
