deadmau5 reveals more of Project Entropy

For the past year and a half deadmau5 has been very quiet on the musical front, mainly due to the fact that he’s been building a brand new state of the art studio. He’s been teasing Project Entropy for over a year now and what many originally thought was a worldwide tour is now looking likely to be an OST of some form.

We’ve been treated to a few instagram previews which shows off the sort of atmospheric music we should be expecting and now Joel has went and uploaded two full previews to Soundcloud which you can stream below. The mau5 seems to be taking a different direction with these tracks, and we know that an OST is something which Joel has wanted to do for quite a while.

The almost ambient style tracks are something which Joel specializes in as seen from his back catalogue. And the break from the studio seems to have done deadmau5 some good as the refreshing sounding tracks are different than anything we’ve heard from him before.

As Entropy is finally beginning to take shape, we know it’s going to be something monumental from the mau5.
