Despite the criticisms from numerous dance music fans, Belgium’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike still had their biggest year in 2015. From headlining their go-to festival Tomorrowland and delivering another smashing performance to releasing massive hits such as “The Hum”, the duo always brings in the madness night in and night out. Following a monumental year becoming the world’s #1 DJ’s, one of their more prominent songs has recently topped Billboard’s “Dance Club Songs” chart.

Dethroning songs by the likes of Justin Bieber, Adele, and Lady Gaga, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s hit “Higher Place” alongside platinum-recording artist Ne-Yo has become the #1 song on Billboard’s chart. The success of the song is evident as it racked over nine million views on Youtube and millions of Spotify plays and was last year’s “Most Shazammed Track” during Tomorrowland and Creamfields. This blend of pop and dance music influences has certainly become a festival slayer, especially Bassjackers’ high-octane remix of this chart-topper. With this achievement in hand, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike kick off the new year on a high note and are now setting up for another colossal year most importantly with their debut album coming up this spring.
