Michael Calfan – Nobody Does It Better

Michael Calfan certainly took over the deep house scene last year with his refreshing instrument infused tunes. The king of what is now called ‘soul house’ is back with a melodic beauty in the likes of ‘Nobody Does It Better’. The Frenchman has been releasing instant classics with his previous productions ‘Prelude’, ‘Treasured Soul’, ‘Mercy’ and ‘Breaking The Doors’; all comfortably picking up over a million plays across different platforms.

Nobody Does It Better is aptly titled for this composition by Mr. Calfan. The track stems from the same formula Michael has used in his previous hits, Prelude and Treasured Soul; the key ingredient being the classic piano sound. Piercing chords and a hypnotic vocal line make up for a hell of a verse whilst a groovy drum-line sets up a brilliant chorus backed with an orchestral vibe courtesy of soothing strings.
