MORTEN – Beautiful Heartbeat ft. Frida Sundemo (RAC Mix)

After earning a Grammy nomination for his stellar remix of Odesza’s “Say My Name,” RAC followed it up with an immensely successful 2015. He featured his live performances at some of the biggest festivals in the United States, including the likes of Electric Zoo and Coachella. Turning the page to 2016, it means new music from the solo project of André Allen Anjos and we are delivered a brilliant, emotional remix of Morten’s “Beautiful Heartbeat.”

Opening with some distinct synths at the start, the track steadily builds with the addition of an underlying, thumping beat. When the haunting vocals from Frida Sundemo are introduced, the track hits its stride and takes off. While the track seems to differ from RAC’s usual, upbeat style, its darker sounds and beats illustrate his impressive production standards and will definitely keep you grooving through the night.
