Our Top 15 tracks from Nicky Romero in celebration of his birthday

It’s always a joy to revert the clock and listen to some of the most memorable tracks from the time when the present ‘EDM’ scene was on the rise. One artist who has constantly been a part of it is Nicky Romero, who turns 27 today. And in celebration of his birthday we are creating a list of his Top 15 productions. Many of us were introduced to Nicky by face as one of the first artists in the Ultra 2012 after-movie and by sound through either the unforgettable 2012 defining ‘Toulouse‘ or the iconic ‘I Could Be The One‘ with Avicii. But the journey started long before that, with releases such as ‘My Friend‘ and Tech-House track ‘Woods Of Idaho‘ on Spinnin in 2010 and 2009 respectively and even older records such as ‘It’s Me Bitches‘, ‘Globe‘ and ‘Funktion One‘ on Sneakerz Muzik, Housefreakaz Recordings and Azúcar Recordings – dating back to the June of 2008.

Nevertheless, his music has influenced the artists of present times and hopefully will go on doing so. With the advent of Protocol Recordings into the industry and the surging effort that Nicky Romero, his team and the artists on that label have put in, there is no doubt as to how big a contribution the label is going to make in years to come. Till then, here is to Nicky Romero and the illustrious career he has had. Happy Birthday Nicky!
