Premiere: Bolier & Mingue – Riverbank
When it comes to artists who have experienced the entire spectrum of a package that Electronic Dance Music has come to become, nobody quite equals the standards that Dutchman Leon Bolier has come to hold. From the early days of releasing ‘No Need To Come Back‘, featuring the renowned Elsa Hill, on ASOT in 2006 to achieving deserved success with ‘Ocean Drive Boulevard‘ in 2008, Leon Bolier has seen Trance evolve over a very crucial time whilst being a part of it. Over time, as is the way with things, Bolier sought change. And with the release of ‘Disco Davai‘ two years ago, the change was incoming.
Foraying into a deeper sound, Leon Bolier found a greener pastors with his aliases WSTLNDR and Bolier. Making Spinnin’ his playground for his Bolier alias, he released ‘Forever And A Day‘ with singer/songwriter Natalie Peris ,’Lost & Found‘ with Redondo & Bitter’s Kiss, ‘Ragga’ with LVNDSCAPE and finally ending the year with ‘Every Single Piece‘ collaborating with fellow dutch duo Redondo and indie band She Keeps Bees. The tracks followed along the same sound design that he had developed but the sound was nevertheless infectious and in turn made him one of the artists to watch for 2016.
And what a start it is going to be as Bolier brings fellow MusicAllstars artist singer/songwriter Mingue to the production desk, collaborating with her on ‘Riverbank’. Featuring joyful guitar chords and a fitting Deep House beat-work, the life of the track is better expressed by the wonderful shift put in by the Dutch singer. Supported by the likes of Sam Feldt, Lost Frequencies, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, EDX and Julian Jordan among others, the track is sure to be the highlight of everyone’s playlists.
Available through Spinnin’ Deep on January 15.
